Future projects and opportunities

The green light for creating the Foundation was given in 1996 to support the research work of underwater archaeologist Franck Goddio. Since then, the work of the Hilti Foundation has expanded considerably.

Together with a network of international aid organizations and partners, we have pursued several sustainable goals. Our efforts have focused on three thematic areas: Music for Social Change, Affordable Housing & Technology and Economic Empowerment. All three fields have a shared common goal: to enable disadvantaged people to become economically independent through their own efforts, allowing them to lead better, self-determined lives.

In addition to financing 2 % of our annual income, the Hilti Family and the Hilti Group also support projects by providing expertise. This generous commitment aims to help foster sustainable social and economic impact.
