World Habitat Award for Habitat's MicroBuild Fund

We are extremely proud to announce that the MicroBuild Fund has received the World Habitat Award by UN-Habitat. The MicroBuild Fund of Habitat for Humanity International focuses on helping low-income families access housing through microfinance institutions and has helped over one million people worldwide. What if we could help not just a few hundred or a few thousand families find a decent place to live, but give millions of people the opportunity to build a better home? That was an intriguing thought for us at the Hilti Foundation when we started to engage with Habitat for Humanity in 2012 and support the MicroBuild Fund in its early stages. We are very proud of how many people the fund has been able to help and would like to congratulate Habitat for Humanity and the entire MicroBuild Fund team for this wonderful achievement.
