  2. Information on the purpose of processing and the recipients of personal data

    1. We collect, process and use the personal data provided by you exclusively in conjunction with your project support enquiry. 

    2. The data collected, processed and used in conjunction with the website comprises merely information that you provide to us voluntarily via the website (e.g. if you download information from our website, submit a request, send an e-mail, complete an online form, etc.) 

  3. Retention period

    We retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected pursuant to this Data Protection Declaration. We may be obliged, however, to retain certain data for a longer period of time. In this event we ensure that your personal data is handled in accordance with this Data Protection Declaration throughout the entire retention period.

  4. Your rights

    1. You have the right to demand information at any time, free of charge, about the personal data saved by us, as well as about its origin, the recipients or categories of recipients to which this personal data is transferred, and the purpose for it being saved.

    2. You also have the right, at all times, to demand that we correct, erase or restrict the processing of your personal data. You additionally have the right to data portability.

    3. You also have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data by us. 

    4. If you have given us your consent to use personal data, you may revoke this consent at any time without specifying the reasons why. 

    5. If you wish to assert the above rights, please do so using the e-mail or address specified under point 1.3.

  5. Data security

    We maintain state-of-the-art technical measures to ensure data security, in particular to protect your personal data from risks during transmission, as well as to protect it from third-party access. These measures are kept state-of-the-art and updated accordingly. 

  6. Collection of personal data for informational use

    1. When using the website merely for informative purposes (i.e. if you do not sign in to use the website, register or otherwise provide us with information), we do not collect any personal data, with the exception of data that your browser provides in order to facilitate your website visit. This data encompasses:

      • Date and time of your enquiry

      • Time zone difference relative to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)

      • Content of the request (specific page)

      • Access status/HTTP status code

      • The respective transferred data volume

      • Website from which the request originated

    2. Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are deposited on your device with the help of your browser. Cookies do not cause any damage.       We would nonetheless like to point out that in this event you may not be able to use all of the website’s functions. The legal basis for the use of data processed by cookies is the first sentence of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The cookies remain valid for 30 minutes, and are then deleted by your browser.

If you complete a contact form or send us a mail or other electronic message, your details will be saved only to process the enquiry and possible associated questions and will be used only within the context of the enquiry. The legal basis for the processing of your enquiry is the first sentence of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR. We will delete your e-mail address once we have settled your enquiry. 

    4. Our website uses “Google Analytics,” a web analysis service of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, to evaluate the traffic on the website. Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies” (see point 2.) which are saved to your computer. The information contained in the cookies, on website and internet usage of the visitor, may be processed and evaluated by Google. The data retrieved by Google may be transferred to states outside the EU and the EEA, in particular to the USA. Google is nonetheless subject to the Privacy Shield Framework.     Within the context of the further technical development of our services as well as within the statutory framework, we shall keep our Data Protection Declaration updated on an ongoing basis. For this purpose, changes to the Data Protection Declaration will be published on our website. Therefore, please read the respective valid version of the Data Protection Declaration on a regular basis. Subject to the applicable statutory regulations, all amendments to the Data Protection Declaration shall come into force as soon as the updated Data Protection Declaration is published. If we have previously collected data relating to you and/or are subject to a statutory duty to provide information, we shall also keep you informed about significant amendments to our Data Protection Declaration and shall ask your consent, insofar as this is required by law.
