Hilti Foundation's 2022: The year in review

All our focus areas share a common goal: Empowering people to lead independent and self-determined lives.  However, 2022 has been another challenging year, and recent world events have caused a major setback in efforts to fight poverty. For this reason, an even stronger commitment from the Hilti Foundation is required. But what does that mean? Well, have a look at this video with Werner Wallner, Managing Director of the Hilti Foundation, giving an overview of what the Foundation has achieved in the past year.

“Nevertheless, 2022 has also been a year of good progress: We stayed on track with our projects and were able to launch important new initiatives. In our focus area, Economic Empowerment, we have started an ambitious vocational training program for construction jobs. Our latest initiative in Affordable Housing & Technology, we are moving towards an industry approach. And in Music for Social Change, the Academy for Impact through Music (AIM) has proven to work well, and we have noted that it can lead the entire sector to greater impact,” Werner Wallner concludes.

We would like to use this opportunity to thank all those who make the Hilti Foundation’s work possible. Foremost, we want to thank the more than 32,000 Hilti team members, whose tremendous commitment is a significant contribution every single day.

In 2023, the Hilti Foundation will continue to drive forward its projects together with strong partners, and launch new initiatives for a better future.

We wish you all a happy holiday season and a prosperous year ahead!
